COMPANY What is the difference between storage power and capacity?
Power (kW or MW) defines the charging/discharging rate; energy capacity (kWh or MWh) defines how much can be stored. A 1 MW / 2 MWh system could discharge for about two hours at 1 MW in an idealised case, before losses and limits.
